Hartley Ultrafast builds optoelectronic coprocessors that perform AI inference in the optical domain, where light carries computation at nanosecond timescales. Based in Bristol, the company combines silicon photonics and electronics to address latency at the physical limit of speed. In partnership with Strange Ventures, I developed Hartley's visual identity in close collaboration with their team to its transition out of stealth mode.
